Rose Uptegrove Moody
1897-1988 |
My grandmother
was born in Kansas. Along with her parents and 11 brothers and sisters
she moved to Oregon City, Oregon
in the first decade of the 20th century. She was selected
to reign as Queen of Oregon City
Booster Day in 1916. This honor qualified her to
represent Oregon City as a
princess on the Portland Rose Festival
Court that same year.
